The Ketubah is a legal contract that represents the commitments that the bride and groom intend to make to each other. It is also a work of art hung in the home, and the creativity involved in it's design represents the life the couple will create together.
Our Ketubah witnesses are dear friends who set wonderful examples of loving marriages between people from diverse cultural and faith traditions. They are:
Scott and Suzanne Stokes
Adam and Yoojin Glassman

The chupah (Hoo-pah) is a canopy traditionally used in Jewish weddings. It is made of a cloth or sheet - sometimes a tallit or “prayer shawl” - which is stretched over four poles to form a little house like structure, symbolizing the home the couple will build together. Usually, this structure is placed under an open sky and is carried to the ceremony site by attendants who sometimes hold the poles during the ceremony. The chupah is also said to be open like the tents of Abraham and Sarah who opened their home always to welcome guests.
Our chupah holders are friends who have 'held us up' over the years, stood by us when we needed them and always just a phone call away. They have helped us each in their own way to build strong foundations for our 'house' together.
They are:
Declan Buckley
Bob Maloney
Neil Potter
Jens Levy

We have an incredible group of friends who are generously lending their support, creativity, and talents to this day. Technically, you can think of them all as ushers, but they each have their own unique skill or role. We love them very much and can't wait for everyone to meet.
