  • An amazing time!

    Dearest family and friends,

    We are back from our 'mini-moon' and are still feeling the magic of last week, thanks to you. It was overwhelmingly wonderful to have all of our loved ones (almost all!) in one place to share in our celebration. We only wish we could have spent more time with each of you: although we were prepared for a whirlwind of activity, there was no way to prepare for the joy of seeing you all and then the frustration of not being able to talk in depth and see you more! Still, we had a wonderful time and couldn't be more grateful to you all for your support and love!

    Special thanks to our friends who helped us surprise each other in song, our family who came from all over for 'mishpacha' (family time), and everyone who pitched in in every way to make this the most wonderful time of our lives. We love you and thank you and we will be in touch personally with each of you soon.

  • Meet us at The Independent!

    We will be parked at The Independent, a lovely Boston style pub with excellent food in our neighborhood of Union Square, Somerville. Come join us if you are free or already have arrived in town!

  • The Menu

    In case you change your mind...

    It is fine to make adjustments on your dinner choice if you see something you like better, just let us know soon. We apologize for not posting this sooner! Just email us if you have any questions.

    FISH

    Grilled Salmon marinated in ginger, scallions and lemon and served with a pineapple and mango salsa

    CHICKEN

    Braised chicken legs marinated in guava and garlic and served with a mango chutney


    VEGGIE

    Grilled Vegetable Skewers with potatoes, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, orange peppers, onions and tofu.


    A Kosher option is also available.




    Along with those choices everyone will get:

    - Endive salad with warm breaded goat cheese and served with an orange and cinnamon dressing

    - Assorted rustic rolls and sliced breads with butter roses

    - Couscous tossed with orange, garlic, cumin and papaya

    - Grilled vegetables

  • Getting Excited!

    Almost 1 month away...

    We are getting so excited about seeing everyone! We can't believe how fast this year has flown and now we are almost one month away. We can't wait to see you. Please let us know your travel plans and if there is any information we can provide to help you further. And thank you for your wonderful RSVP's full of advice, words of wit and wisdom, and song and do keep them coming.

    Two fun things we recently found out:

    1. The Dalai Lama is speaking on the same night as our wedding at Foxboro Stadium in MA. We feel especially spiritual with His Holiness' presence in our fair state that weekend.

    2. Shepard Fairey, the Street Artist whose work was adopted for the now famous Obama Campaign Poster, is on exhibition at the ICA, Boston's Institute for Contemporary Art, a fantastic museum in a new building in walking distance from our hotel! We encourage any of you who have a bit of extra time in Boston to visit.

    We've also updated this website with more pages about our talented friends and non profit organizations we support, added a list of local restaurants, and will continue to update this page with helpful info.

    See you under the Chuppah!

  • Boston is Busy: Book Early!

    City Weddings....

    Boston is one of the most beautiful cities in the country, and our 'old meets new' wedding reflects Boston's character. The old world charms of it's cobblestoned streets and historic sites still leave room for a Boston that is reinventing itself through modern architecture, a redesigned harbor, and the brilliant minds of scholars at over 50 colleges and universities.

    Because of this, Boston is busy, especially in the Springtime, and our wedding weekend is no exception. With city wide conferences already scheduled and a world wide sail race anticipated to come through Boston Harbor sometime in the first weeks of May, rooms are at a premium, and we urge you to take advantage of our wedding room blocks or make your own arrangements as soon as possible. There are wonderful deals on hotels.com, and please feel free to contact us if you have questions about an alternative location.
